Two months following Luke Perry’s tragic death, the “Riverdale” series has announced the actor’s final episode.
The show runner tweeted, “This week’s #Riverdale is the last episode Luke filmed. As always, Fred’s imparting words of wisdom to Archie. A beautiful, true moment between a father and his son. Wish these scenes could go on forever…”
Luke played Archie’s dad, Fred Andrews. Cast member Cole Sprouse recently discussed how the show dealt with the actor’s death and that they dedicated some episodes to them.
Perry, who was previously known for playing Dylan McKay on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” died of a massive stroke in February. He was 52-years-old.
