Trail Blazers Lose Game 1 of Western Conference Finals

May 14, 2019

The Trail Blazers have landed from cloud nine and were met with a 116-94 loss to the defending champion Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. For some reason the game felt very uneventful because of the pace and lack of scoring the first half. But as the game continued it started to look like Steph Curry was taking control, dropping 36 points. Klay Thompson helped with 26 of his own. Game 2 is on Thursday, and the Blazers will need to hit the film room and figure out a way to quit turning the ball over! (21) Here are some of the highlights:

  • Rodney Hood put on another great peformance from the bench, scoring 17 points
  • Moe Harkless scored 3 blocks
  • Dame and CJ combined for 36 ...
  • We were within 9 points ... a lot
